Mark has to make sure a mission to Mars goes as planned...and it kinda doesn't.

<b> <font color="crimson">Review:</font></b>Well it's time once again to kiss the arses of <b>Robert Kirkman</b> and <b>Ryan Ottley</b>, and commend them on yet another amazing and fully entertaining issue of <b>Invincible</b>.

<b>Mark</b> is still trying his hardest to keep up with his job of being a full time super-hero. However his girlfriend is starting to catch on. Always being late, always leaving, and the constant ring of his new beeper have her wondering what is going on. Although what she suspects isn’t really the truth.

Mark’s latest mission is to play babysitter to a crew of astronauts that are traveling to Mars to explore. What they don’t know is that there is a race of Martians that live there. In fact they are the same type of Martians that <b>Martian Man</b> of the <b>Guardians of the Globe</b> was (we all remember what happen to him). Anyway so Mark has to tag along on the tail of the space ship and make sure everything goes smoothly.

Well it kind of doesn’t. The Martians kidnap the astronauts because they are the perfect host for a parasitic like creature that also lives on Mars known as <b>Sequids</b>. They can latch on to bodies and take over the host. So Mark has to find his way around Mars, avoid the Sequids, explain himself to the home Martians, grab the astronauts, and make sure they are home safely. In other words, this was a great issue. Plus, we still have <b>Angstrom</b> and his current storyline still progressing. That is getting better and better every issue and I really am anxious to see what will happen next with him.

The art once again is phenomenal and eye popping. <b>Ottley’</b>s art just seems to make me smile and is just one of the other elements of this book that makes it one of if not the best book on the comic rack today.

Go buy this book! Kirkman should be kissing my arse for all the good things I send his way. But he and Ottely deserve it. They are the team to beat and this is the book to read.

i mean this book has it all and now i just sound pathetic!

I mean this is in my top 3 books and the fact that me SD and like 2 others are the only ones reading thins kinda bugs me.

You have to go to eveyone's house, tie them down, and hold their eyelids open with toothpicks and get them to read the comic out loud.

Yeah, that particular plan got me at least 329 restraining orders. My next plan is go on Kids Say the Darndest Things and use a mind control devi... wha? That show doesn't exist anymore? And they don't let college students on it? DAMMIT. Guess I'm going back to jumping out of the bushes and screaming at them.

I finally read this issue today. That last page was shocking. I really feared for the Martians, even if they were loopy.

The diner scene felt a bit forced though. Most girls would have just though Mark was having a bit on the side.

Well, given that Mark was showing up with fresh bruises, was always leaving early or showing up late, and that his dad and only source of income just died, I think his girlfriend put together that he was a drug dealer. Which was freakin' hilarious.
