See me draw Nightwing and Arsenal

Hey, y'all! Well, a couple of weeks ago in a thread over on Newsarama some of the kind posters there mused that they thought I'd be a good fit for The Outsiders, and I mentioned how much I dig Nightwing and Arsenal. Anyway, I was already planning on drawing Nightwing, so I went ahead and did just that, and threw in his partner in crime-fighting for kicks. :) It's a rare raw pencil piece, for those of you curious to see what that sort of thing looks like from me.

I also posted another page from Revisionary #1 for you to check out, but this time I posted it's layout, it in pencil, and then, finally in ink, for those of you that dig those sort of behind the scenes "process" things.

Anyhow, it's a great piece of work -- you'd definately be a good match for The Outsiders or Nightwing, or Green Arrow for that matter (damn, I that's a good Arsenal).

Thanks, Jim. Glad you dug it, man. As far as taking requests, kind of. You know, people throw out who they'd like to see me draw and if it's something that sticks in my craw I'll probably do it at some point. There are some characters that I have no interest, really, in drawing, but they're sometimes the most fun because I'll find something fun about them, you know?

Like in this pic, I'm a fan of Arsenal, but not of his current look. I prefer his mid-nineties brown costume with the arrowhead on the chest. So I wasn't really thrilled about drawing tis version of him, but to my surprise he was more fun to draw than Nightwing. That was REALLY shocking to me because I'm a huge fan of NW. Anyway, yeah if there's a character you'd like to see me draw, throw it out there, man, I just might do it. :)

Thanks, S.A. They've moved the last couple of threads like this one over to the "Weaving the Web" forum, but I'm stoked that they left this one here because these are really meant for fans of these characters, and they might not see it in that forum.

Anyway, thanks for the comment, man. I'd be stoked drawing any of those books! :) Or maybe an Arsenal solo series. :p :D

No worries from me, Andy, I just didn't want to be annoying and keep posting in the wrong place. Glad this one's ok. :)

I AM a tease, you should know that by now, girl. :P We're almost done with the first issue and I expect it to solicit for a June release. Not too much longer now. :)

Aw, I'm sorry, girl. Moonstone had already learned a lesson that it took us on RM forever to learn, which is, don't solicit until it's drawn. So, that's why you'll have to wait so long. I'll be done with the book probably in just over a week, but damn the solicitation process, it'll be a few months before you all see it. :(

Concluding my Super-hero weekend with my favorite, Doctor Mid-Nite! Current and Golden Age. Like the Nightwing/ Arsenal pic it's pencil now, I'll ink it later and let you know when it goes up, but for now, I hope you enjoy it, I totally did drawing it. :)

My requests are slightly complicated. I have a section on my website that I've just started where I have the My ultimate (not the Marvel meaning) teams. I.E. The JLA (or whatever) I'd make.

Any particular teams or heroes with a type of theme just so I'm not wasting your time.

Hmm, well, team shots take a lot of time for me, which is something I don't have a lot of right now, so the closest I'll probably come anytime soon is going to be a group shot of some of the Titans women. Someone suggested a pic of Raven, Starfire, and Donna Troy. I dig those characters, and it's been a little bit since I drew any hot chicas, so I'm most likely going to do that one next, and I'll throw in Terra because she's one of my personal faves. Other thann that, the most I'll probably be drawing will be two on a page, and those would be like the Doctors, one Golden Age, one current, because those types of pics are a hell of a lot of fun. :)
