Well know that I know I'd better off not bothering with Aquaman, let me turn this thread into a broader spectrum and ask about several titles in the DCU I've been on the fence with for a while. Started with Aquaman, now I'll ask about Nightwing. I read through War Games and just lost interest. I've heard good things about the current Year One arc, and the new art team of Hester and Parks is definately impressive. Is this a book I should go back to?

Also, since this thread is no longer simply on Aquaman, would it be possible for an administrator to change the title? I know I cannot do that, but maybe it'd help get more feedback (my wordy way of saying I want everyones opinion on the various books discussed).

I've split the thread. It'll be easier vor new readers.
As for Nightwing I read the last 25 issues and the conclusion in War Games was a bit of a downer.
I really advise everybody to start reading the title when Hester and Parks jump in. They are a really great team.

Thanks Benoit
Gotta agree on Hester and Parks art.

As I said, I am stoked to see the new art team. The rotating teams on Nightwing for the past however long killed the title. However, I am a bit uneasy on Grayson's writing. I was not a huge fan of the recent loooong run ending with Blockbuster's death and Dick's breakdown (still not sold on Tarantula "raping him"). I love the character Nightwing, but like Aquaman, I am hesitant to get the title because it will be such a let down to see a great character written poorly.

Nightwing is a very good read right now. Year One is great.

Well didn't get to many Nightwing hits, so let me give Wonder Woman a shot. Heard great things about Rucka as a writer, though i've yet to read him. Wonder Woman is another character with great potential, but I am a bit turned off by the art. Mistake on my part? (feel free to still respond to Nightwing as well)

Which WW issue did you get? #212 was a fill-in.

I haven't bought or read through any WW. I have a limited budget so I do not go out on limbs unless someone suggests something good. I flipped through some WW a few months back, but the art did nothing for me. I am huge stickler for art. The writing has to compliment it, but if the art doesn't cath me right away, not gonna stick aroundf for the writing even if it is good.
