There is a lot of possitive feedback on the Superman Birthright series. Rightfully so. Many are seeing this as a new reboot to the Superman storyline.
I am not sure where DC is planning to take this. But here is what I would like to see in the Superman universe. I admit it is a wish list, and subject to the scrutiny of this forum:
- Continuation of Lex Luthor as both a scientist and a billionaire businessman. Maybe he could even don that purple and green suit and fight the Man of Steel.
- A Phantom Zone with real Kryptonian villians. I am not looking for several dozen as in the Silver/Bronze Age. A maximum of three would be sufficient. After all, it is nice to see Superman have to fight an equal now and again.
- A few other good natured Kryptonian survivors other than Kal-El and Kara Zor-El. Doesn't have to be the massive population of the Bottled City of Kandor.
- A Bizarro World.
- The confirmation that the Guardians of the Universe had planned to make Kal-El the Green Latern of Krypton. Also that they played a role to ensure his rocket arrived to Earth safely.
