Ok here is some stuff I have been thinking on that ties the Bat family to the upcoming Crisis.
I am going to spoiler tag all of this just in case so bear with me First, Jeph Loab is not one of the three writers who is at the center of this event. However, I seem to remember reading somewhere he was very influential in this idea and has been helping these guys with their story. Now we can definately see how Superman/Batman comes into play. But what if the entire Hush story is also part of it? It reintroduces the idea of Jason Todd coming back from the dead. This ties that to the current Bat run by Winnick (One of the helmsman for the upcoming Crisis). Next, Batman Death and the Maidens. Supposedly Ra's dies and his daughters take over. We know Talia is a huge player in the new Villains Society. Recently in Teen Titans, the time travel story, we heard a character tell Tim that Ra's was alive (more specifically Ra's did something contrary to Tim's belief Ra's was dead). There was no specific reference betwen Ra's and the Crisis that I can recall, but there may have been. Now I do not have any specific theory. But, also in Gotham Knights we have recently seen that Tommy Elliot is likely not Hush. So again Loeb's story has influenced a later writer. I am thinking that Ra's, Jason Todd, and Hush will play roles, if not huge one's in the upcoming Crisis. Sure Hush could still turn out to be Elliot and Red Hood may not be Jason Todd, but will Ra's actually stay dead? Again no specific theory here, just wondering if these things which were good seperate stories on their own were actually set-ups to something far grander. I know that is a lot, and might be complete nonsense, but any one else got anything?
