Has anyone seen him since the Hush story ark?

I think he's remained in jail... I don't think we've seen Gordon since that arc either I don't think...

Last time I saw him was in Gotham Central a year or 2 ago, but thats the only bat book I read apart from Batgirl

Last time I saw him he was free and with his face back to normal in Hush.

You saw Harvey Dent? Or Two-face?

It's not part of current continuity, but Two-Face is a major player in the "Batman: Jekyll and Hyde" miniseries that starts this week.

Gordan was in the War Games arc

He was? I don't really remember him in War Games... what did he contribute?

Not enough. He popped in either right before or right after Batman took over the GCPD and told him it was a bad idea, then promptly disappeared again. :sigh: I miss ol' Jim Gordon, dammit.

Me too. I understand it was an evolution of the Bat-books, but Gordon was a nice presence year after year. :hrm:

Yeah -- I'm not saying he should come out of retirement. After all he'd been through, it made sense for him to hang up the badge. But even in retirement, he's too good a character to just sit on the sidelines like this. DC should find SOMETHING to do with him...

Don't tempt fate. I'd sooner he stayed in relative obscurity than became the new Spectre or something daft like that.

Gordan left Gotham because Babs left. He said he had already lost too much of him family to lose any more so he left to be close to her. The ball as far as Gordan goes is pretty much in Semone's court right now.

When I asked questions of Gail Simone & Dan Didio at the most recent WonderCon (ComicCon? I can't even remember the name of the event now!!! good grief!), Didio said that James Gordon WILL be returning to the DCU, & when he does, it will be "in a big way." Who knows if Didio actually had a plan in mind or not, though.
