Which Elseworlds do you like the best?

Kingdom Come. Without hesitation.

After that, I'd give credit to Superman: Speeding Bullets, Batman: Gotham By Gaslight and a few others that I've enjoyed.

Kingdom Come, and the Dark Knight Returns, are two of the Best, However, The Nail is my personal fav.

I really liked 1602 but I don't know if that even counts because it's Marvel and it supposedly isn't a elseworlds...Otherwise Kingdom Come.

Only DC books CAN count for this, Elseworlds is a very specific DC imprint.

I have to agree, Kingdom Come is what brought this old man back to comics.

in this order
1. Kingdom Come .... most defantly !!!
2. JLA Earth 2
3. Elseworlds Finest ... Supergirl & Batgirl
4. JLA The Nail
5. Annual #6 .. The Feral Man of Steel (a "jungle book" type of story)
6. Superman .. Speeding Bullets
7. Authority / Batman
8. Planetary / JLA ... Terra Occulta
9. Superman the Dark Side
10. Green Lantern ... The Dark Side

loved the trilogy of stories where Batman fights dracula believe it was called "Red Rain" or "Bloodstorm".

Also the one where Batman finds the GL ring.

2. JLA Earth 2

That's not an Elseworlds, that's in-continuity.

Green Lantern: Dark Side? I don't remember that one.

And Chapel -- the one where Bruce Wayne becomes a Green Lantern is "Batman: In Darkest Knight." ;)

Superman: Red son was a good read too.

Kingdom Come is awesome.

Kingdom Come followed closely by Dark Knight Returns. Well, okay that was out in the days before Elseworlds, but it's still technically an Elseworlds.

Superman: Speeding Bullet.

Are there any others that merge or mess with character's origins like that?

Well, they all pretty much mess with their origins. As far as "merging," the only other one I know of is Batman: In Darkest Knight, wherein Bruce Wayne becomes a Green Lantern.
