Villians United: Who's who?

I only got back into comics in the last two years or so. Even before that, I wasn't exactly a big time DC fan. So, while reading through Villians United, I had to stop and wonder several times who exactly I was looking at. If I can at least get a name to go with some of the faces, I might be able to figure out the rest via goolge.

Lets just take the cover for instance. I think that's Talia, Black Adam, Luthor, Dethstroke, Dr Psycho (wasn't he shot dead in Wonder Woman not long back? I just started reading the trades...) and the Calculator. Ok, good so far I think, but by page three I'm lost.

VU #1 Spoiler Who the hell is Dethstroke killing on the top of p3? And for that matter, are all these guys on p4?

Heres another question
The society apparently approcached prometheus and other villans that I'm pretty sure are dead. I have the issue of JLA where promethus gets an arrow in the head from huntress. Did I miss something here?

I'd have to go back and look at the pages specifically to tell who who's who, but in response to Fantatix's question... Promethus, at least, isn't dead. He popped up in the Batman titles not too long ago.
