Wow....... just wow. I gotta say Superboy is my favorite member of Teen Titans and just reading this issue was just ....wow. Even though he did turn evil I'm a sucker for someone who can beat his entire team without trying. This arc is shaping up to be just incredible. I can't wait to see what else they do. Also, the ending though expected especially with how they solicited Outsiders, was unexpected with the name that was dropped.

And when Superboy went postal, who did he smoke first? Raven. Why? Cuz she is the only person on the team who was powerful enough to stop him. Johns is finally making that more obvious. I can't wait until he gives Raven her due. In fact I've been keeping up with Titans in anticipation for that moment...and its a damn fine book

I was just wondering if anyone new what Aut Vincere Aut Mori actually means. I think it might be german but I could be mistaken. Just wondering if it actually means anything.

it' actually Latin, and roughly traslated it means "Either Conquer or Die"

Thanks, my original guess was latin but a friend said it sounded more german.

It was awesome. Teen titans has been one of my favorites since its debut almost 2 years ago. And I was a fan of young Justice before that. Johns has done such great work with these characters. Even in a mostly fighting issue like this and the last series, he's still able to deepen some character, specifically superboy in this issue. I'm also a fan of the outsiders, even though I haven't really picked it up since the first arc until recently, but I think this is a great crossover. And I for one totally didn't see that end coming.

I wish the art in Teen Titans had been a little more clear, it would've given Superboy's attack some real impact.
For instance... what did he do to Cyborg that made him fall apart? Is Raven dead? She took a full force heat vision blast... We never really see what happened to Beast Boy, Kid Flash or Speedy.
Other than that, seeing Conner Break Robin's arm like a twig, and crush his own girlfriend, that was just chilling.

Bryan: Seeing as how Raven is on the cover of the next two issues of Teen Titans, I doubt she's dead. In fact, I rather suspect she'll prove to be Superboy's salvation.

Yeah, I know, but he also has heat vision, which comes and goes and wasn't very reliable, until now.
Ohh, wait, it just occured to me what you meant by that, I guess that's how he ripped Cyborg apart. Duhhhhhhh.
That was a beating of epic proportions.
Yes, and if you read this weeks issue of Outsiders... Ind-iac version 8.0 doled out quite the beating to the Ousiders as well. Nothing as bad as what Conner did to the Titans, but still, damn girl! Chill!

Oh, and I'm sure you get this a lot, but thanks Blake.

So Outsiders is finally out. I thought it was pretty good, and I like were it is going. It is really going good. I can't wait for the next issue in the series. Though I did point this out earlier somewhere else did dc fix the shipping or is part 4 of this cross over coming out before part 3 namely is the next issue of outsiders coming out before teen titans?

Holy Crap!
I just read issue 25. Definatly one of the best titans issues maybe ever. I'm really looking forward to part 4 in outsiders next week. The art worked for the most part, gritty without being too messy.
What'd everybody else think?

I liked the art in this one a lot better, and the new Wonder Girl both confronting her place in this world, and her rage, was a nice touch. And it was heart-breaking when Luthor was able to quickly recapture Connor after Wonder Girl woke him up.
I was a bit confused when Brainiac and Indigo were discussing Donna Troy and her role in the upcoming crisis and "preventing her return." I didn't know it was a foregone conclusion... it was messy.

Actually I thought the talk about donna being killed and ressurected was very interesting, and was pretty well explained considering its the history of the future. Here's what I was able to figure out. In the future braniacs have a planet which was destroyed or stopped by donna. In revenge braniac 8(i think the lone survivor) came back to not only kill her which apparently happaned in that timeline already, but also stopping her from coming back from the dead, changing their future.
Overall I liked it, and kinda saw it as a commentary by Johns that people coming back from the dead has become a bit to much of a foregone conclusion.
And the only panel I didn't like in the whole book was after superboy destoryed robins batarang, and then apparently just moved his hand and robin got hit. What happaned there, telekenisis or superboy creating a mini tornado?
The best panel in the book though was definatly wondergirl deflecting the same blast that killed donna. It was visual poetry having the whole series feel like its come into its own.

Yes, Brainiac and Indigo were saying that if Donna was left alive, she would have threatened their plans in the future, so Indigo had to kill her to secure their dominance in that future.

Another outstanding issue, by FAR my favorite issue of the week.

Although this issue looked great (haven't read it myself quite yet though), is anyone else concerned and afraid of next month's two-issue fill-in arc with Gail Simone writing (that's not the scary part) and Rob Liefield pencilling? :O

When it comes to comics...its the writing that counts. Great writing can compensate for lacklustre art. But great art cannot lift bad writing. *cough*UXM*cough* ;)
So just put your faith in Gail to pull it off.

I think Gail is an awesome author... but a really poor artistic showing could really kill my enjoyment of the story (and the focus on the new Hawk and Dove doesn't exactly thrill me)

Liefield isn't that bad. He'd be better if his woman's lower half didn't look male.
Adam Chapman

I don't know... sometimes he's good, sometimes he's bad... I don't like his panel usage though... sometimes there's way too much white space left on the page which is totally blank. Check out Cable #75 to see what I mean... :p

In that case its no big deal.

No word yet, but I believe Johns is coming back.
I hope.
My only problem with Liefield is the oturarageously huge muscles on all his male characters (I mean come on, he's drawing Kid Flash, not the Hulk...) and the ridiculously large chests on his women. Wait I take that back... no, no, it's still wrong. In the preview art he drew Cassie looking like she belonged on Baywatch.

Teen Titans 25 was incredible. I've loved these characters for years and to see Conner and Cassies relationship face such stark conflict was amazing.

I wasn't too thrilled with the art in the latest Titans book. The artist was too scribbly, and I got thing against that and the colours were too dark.
The Dr. Light arc was just dandy. Nice clean lines, hot ladies. What more could you ask for? :)

The art for this weeks issue was vastly improved over last issue's... or Outsiders for that matter.
But the writing made up for the art shortcomings by far.

Johns isn't leaving the book, Simone and (ghack) Liefeld are just doing the Hawk & Dove story arc.

Let's hope Simone has a clue how English people act and talk, because if she doesn't I'll puke from the art and the writing.
