Just found this up over at Newsarama (www.newsarama.com).
Interesting that Wonder Woman is standing in the centre between Batman and Superman... makes me fear for WW. :p

Adam, Adaaaaaaam, don't tell me YOU'RE in the "Diana will die" school of thought.
I'm more nervous about the "Covers by Jim Lee and George Perez" blurb. I really hope that means they're alternating and not falling prey to the variant cover trap...

I agree, I hope it means alternating as well, or even splitting covers, as long as they're not variants. They have enough variants, what with so many printings. DC prints different covers for every variant, and Marvel prints variant covers for first printings, to inflate the speculator market, especially with the rare variants.
Variants make me sick!!!
And yes, I think I might be joining the "Afraid for Diana" camp. I mean, Donna Troy is back (or will be by the time this starts...)...

Doesn't matter. I don't believe for an instant DC would ever (permanently) kill one of the three icons.

I know. I looked at it and thought, "is it just me or is Supes's head and neck bigger than his torso?" Still, I'm ready to see what everything has been building up to.

They won't, not only is it stupid they'll have alot of outraged fans and may lose alot of them (and we all know DC/WB LOVES money!). Plus one of them has a movie and the other thwo are supposed to be coming out with one (Superman Returns - Bryan Singer) (Wonder Woman - Joss Whedon)

Well she at least needs a traumatic event.
Superman died.
Batman was crippled.
Diana was....well she sorta/kinda went blind for a little bit, but not Ray Charles blind, more of a Matt Murdock blind.
If you are going to be a real part of the trinity you need to get some scars.

Well, she was killed.
Her mother died.
Her "sister" died.
Her island was tossed through the seas by Hera and hundreds of her people were killed.
I'd say one could argue she's suffered a good bit more trauma than Superman OR Batman. At least lately.

What outraged fans and What money? WW stars in exactly one book right now, one. And her book has the least impact on the rest of the DCU of any book except maybe the Legion of Superheros.
If WW bit the big one tomorrow exactly how would the dynamics of the DCU be changed and shattered forever?
Sue Doble has affected more peoples lives, well that might be a bit of a stretch but still. Compare the effects of murdering Batman or Superman vs the reprecusions of killing WW. Its not even close.

Agreed. Now with added letters.

I didn't know she died. But I would definately argue that last part.

Of the trinity, her death will be the least significant, i agree with most of you, but i doubt they'll do it..... or is donna gonna take her place?

I disagree here. Diana's death would probably more significant. Who's the one person in JLA that everyone loves? Diana. Who's the one person who can find a middle ground between Superman and Batman? Diana. Her death would probably end the JLA and fracture Superman and Batman forever.

It's sad, but that by-line actually has me more excited than the Infinite Crisis hoopla... I think I'm burnt out on all the marketing and speculation.

I don't think Diana would die. Donna Troy is no Diana, she hasn't earned that respect.

I'm in the "diana might possibly die for a little while at least" school of thought. Somebody's gonna die by the end of it, and Dianas in my top 5.
And I love that cover, awesome. Looks like it really wraps up everything infinite crisis is gonna be about with A, B, and C listers all on it.

Sure, somebody is gonna die. Chances are more than one. But I'm saying it again -- the Big Three are absolutely safe.
