I've always wondered why Batman never got into magic. Has he ever even used magic? I mean, he obviously knows of it, and no doubt has the resolve to master the mystic arts, then why doesn't he? Could you imagine how powerful he would become if he were to get really into it? He'd be an incredible force to reckon with no doubt. Your thoughts people?

Just a note, but a similar question has been posed before: 18045.

Short answer(mine anyway) Magic isn't trustworthy enough for Bats to rely on. He doesn't rely on anything he can't fully control and/or understand and no matter how good he gets at magic he will never be able to do either with it.

Hmm, alright that makes sense. Thanks, and sorry I brought up an already resolved topic.

batman has knowledge of arcane arts... after all he's hung out with ra's...

but i don't think he uses it because it's not something that batman can control 100%.
