About how Batman always seems to know when invisible/intagible people are spying on him. Do you think he Really knows someone is there or do you think that every 5mins or so he says

"Come on out Manhunter, I know you are there"
"No use in hidding Clark"
"What do you want Flash"
"Nice try Dick" and so on.

Personally TNC and I think so...how about you?

Plausible but it doesn't explain why he's always precise with his guesses. Maybe, he can use things like changes in the air patterns, unusual noises (usually advancing towards him), breathing, different scent in air, and maybe spiritually feeling a presence nearby

Batmans, being a detective, is certianly the "guessing" type, but I think poeple would catch on evetully. I think its either some sort of intuition, or he has a a way of telling with a gizmo of some sort.

Like NO WAY is Batman 100% sure WHENEVER someone sneaks up on him. I could definately see him just at his house practicing:

Well, he is a ninja. Using what he knows from that and since he's a detective he probably knows what to look for when someone's hiding. He's a master at picking out details so he knows when something is out of place. But you got me at how he knows who it is all the time. I bet he put some kind of tracer in every JLA communicator that beeps or lights up in his visor to let him know whenever one of them is near him.

Do you think he gets Alfred to test him on people's smells? Like he sends him out to steal Superman's bath towel, or Wonder Woman's sweatshirt, then has him test him on the odours?

If I were one of the other heroes I'd change things up to mess with him...


Bruce: Diana, you can stop hiding. I can recognise the scent of every hero on the planet you know.

Bruce: (not yet seen Arthur) But... the smell?

Bruce: Your secrets safe with me. Sometimes I 'borrow' one of Selina's outfits and sing Arethra Franklin songs into my hair brush... I mean uh, Despero made me do that, to uh, advance his schemes of... um, world domination, by uh... making earth's champions crossdressing karaoke zombies...

It's all in good fun though. I'm a huge Batman fan, and I love the character to bits, but he is a comedy goldmine.

LMAO! Just read that long drawn out comic RP you wrote, Cardiac. Very well done *applauds*

Personally, as far as Batman knowing when somebody's there but they are in hiding, I think he just utilizes his ability to think quickly. You wouldn't be able to pull a fast one on a man of higher intelligence and better stealth skills you know ;)

This thread was just hilarious. But I do believe Batman has a breach thing very similar to the one he used during terror incognita, to know when the white martians were going to be on him. So when the gadget tells him that somebody is in his close proximity, he just analyzes the situation and deduces who is the one.

Either that or we have been fooled and it is not Batman, it is a White Martian brainwashed to think that he is Batman, so it has Psychic powers and endurance, but has not come to the realization about his true identity.
