I was shocked by it, but I certainly believe that she will not really die, she will change her identity or something like that it makes no sense, they have worked a lot on Cassandra

Actually I am more shocked by the fact that Wonder Woman #227 on february will be the final issue of the series and that most of the heroes in the DC universe seem to murder someone on the february solicits, or likely to do so, more likely than ever. Oh this crisis is making my head hurt.

actually i think the reason they are rebooting wonderwoman is because they are pandering to wondy's fan base by making her a lesbian... gotta get a hold of that lesbian demographic....

The question is why do they feel like making whole sale changes to the status quo is going to be something that brings the fans?

Because it does.
I had never read an issue of the avengers until new avengers #1 came out and it looked like a good jumping on point since I like bendis and liked the line up. (I hate thor, main reason i never read the avengers)

I got into comics when I picked up the first issue of Grant Morrisons JLA.

Shaking up the status quo and rebooting titles isn't necessarily a good thing, especially when it doesn't work out well. But it's been proven to generate sales and bring in new fans.

Please specify what it is you're spoiling if it's not obvious from the thread topic.
