Am I the only one who's REALLY starting to like Frau Totenkinder? :D
That sneaky, sneaky old witch...

With a handle like "Totenkinder" how can she not be wickedly cool. :heh:

She's got the mad sorcery powers, plus she's got incredible tactical intelligence. With Bigby and Snow out of the picture it's awesome to see other Fables showing real leadership ability. Like Frau and Beast. Even Prince Charming is having to take some responsiblity and not doing too horrible of a job. That conversation between Charming and Blue was awesome this issue. I do really miss Bigby though. He's too cool.

She's been great since "March of the Wooden Soldiers". Have to say though, that I was a little disapointed with the last issue. Not what I was expecting, given the ending of the previous issue.

That's exactly WHY I like it. It wasn't what was expected, but it made sense. That's good storytelling, to me.

I was a fan of Frau, since she fought Baba Yaga in March of the Wooden soldiers. I loved when she said she left the other ones in charge of a little rain, since they could handle that, she was out to teach an impudic woman a lesson that she have had coming, and I thought she was talking about Snow White, that is misdirection. hahahaha.
Another favorite of mine was Cinderella, in the story involving Crane was really good, and twisted.

Yeah, the Cinderella issue was a great fake-out from Willingham. He's very good at that, isn't it?
Have you read issue #45 yet?

My internal question now, is should I run like Lola or run like Forest?
Blake Petit

Go for Forrest -- fewer variables that way.

Do not mess with Frau. She has power and she has serious wisdom.
And I love how she explains why things are taking so long and then you see that she's embellishing the explanation. She's scary scary scary. One of those you say "thank goodness she's on my side."

And then hope to God you're right about that. ;)
