Last I checked Jean Paul Valley bit the big one at the end of his Azrael run.
Of course I have been proven to be wrong...from time to time.

Yeah, he was killed in the last issue of his series. Although the body was never recovered...
But even if he did recover, he had some blood disease that was supposed to kill him anyway.

Thats a shame. I thought he might of had the potential of becoming DC's Wolverine.

I dinno why they didnt bring him back for the crisis. That would have been cool. I dont see why not, every one else came back. Remember the arc of the Titans that explained the doors of Death had been opened, with Kid Eternity as the door stop.

Hey, Liam, what issue of TT was that? I just finished reading Morrison's Kid Eternity and I'd sure like to check this out.

No demand for it -- Azrael wasn't that popular among creators OR readers...
And Sloat, the story he's talking about was in issues 30 and 31.

You are very right about Azael not being very popular. I did not like him all that well myself.

Well after OYL, guess what Az fans...
Azrael(and Linda Danvers Supergirl) have been dubbed uncanon to the DC Univers, aka they never existed.

I swear its true, DiDio said it on Newsarama or Comiccontinuum or somewhere.
I read it(and so did everyone at another comic board I go to), let me try to find the link sometime.

Kid Eternity appeared in Teen Titans #31. It's the end of a two part arc so if you want to know whats happening just get 30 also and your good (though it does techniqually spin out of a cliff hanger of the previous issue which is not necessary).

Please do so. Because I have heard rumblings of Azrael coming back, not as Jean Paul Valley. But as a mantle for redemption.

Oops, nevermind, the guy who said Azrael was un-canon was being sarcastic apparently, stupid prank, but yeah Linda Danvers Supergirl is uncanon now I know that much.
Sorry bout that, the guy was confused.

Oh man...DC better make it up to me by saying that Byrne's Doom Patrol is non-canonical as well...
Is there a list somewhere of all the non-canonical items post IC now or am I going to have to wait for the History of DC Unicerse thing?

I believe they've already done that one, Jim. :-D
And I imagine you'll have to wait for the History storyline to find out most of what is and ain't still canon.
