In Morrison's run on JLA he managed to take out most of the JLA and even best Batman in combat. Later he came back and beat Oracle out of her wheelchair. It all went downhill from there. He appears in Hush Returns (which is after or before War Games?) and is treated like Hush's b****, when he could probly take him out. Also, in this issue he used guns. Guns? he doesn't have guns, he uses a variety of darts and a kick a** nightstick. His helmet was also messed up in that arc. In War Games he wasn't treated as badly, but he was still Hush's lackey. Personally, I'm pissed and have been wanting to rant about this for a while. Your thoughts?

Yeah, it sucks. Actually I'd say its absolutly horrendous what they did to a new criminal mastermind who could have been a deadly foe to any hero or group of heroes in the DCU. There's no really no excuse.
And Hush 2 took place before war games.

yeah, i agree with you 100%. For a guy to have 2 good showings versus the JLA (one in which he was a moment away from victory if not for a blasted whip....) and then come to be Hush's butler is just crazy. Hush is nice and all and i love the character to death, but Prometheus has just simply had better showing versus Bats and just about every other JLAer at the same frickin time. yeah man, ur not alone on this

I think there is more, even worse to this. They gelded Prometheus for sure, but they ruined a potentially great villain in Hush.

Hush will bounce back. He's still a baby comicwise anyway :-D....same could be said about Prometheus too, but it looks like hes just gonna be a hired hand from now on out, which is rubbish in its purest form.

so Hush kicked Prometheus out on his *** in Hush 2 and then re-employed him in War Games? talk about no respect.
I loved the characer Hush too. I thought Tommy Elliot was awesome as his real identity too. The irony of a surgeon being a gun toting villian was an excellent twist. his motive was kind of shaky though. Hopefully they can turn these characters back around, although it's nice to know theyre still above the likes of Riddler and Joker in fighting ability
