DC released the cover on the site. Have to say, the people on the cover have me not excited about the book. Here is hoping Titans East has a better team and more Doom Patrol makes me happy.

I am stoked for this book. So far OYL has been a total success for me and I am eagerly awaiting this book.

I loved Teen Titans, but just like a lot of the fans I see are going to do, I will most likely drop the book. If I wanted to read Young Justice I read it, but then why would I? It was stinky. Cyborg should have graduated by now. No excuse for him to still be there. Then we move on the fact it is only a 5 person team on the cover giving recent reveals from issue 37 more of a reason not to get excited about this team. I will check it out to see what is up with Titans East and the Doom Patrol, but count me out of reading a team where Ravager, Kid Devil, Robin, Wonder Girl, and Cyborg share the spotlight.

So what's happening to Raven?

My speculations after seeing the upcoming covers...
put in spoiler space just for safety sake
NOTE: These are speculations. Raven looks like she's with the Doom Patrol along with Beast Boy from what I can tell from TT #35's cover...looks like it's BB, Raven, Cliff Steele and others..That new red person looks like either a manifestation of Trigon or Brother Blood...kinda interesting to see who he really is...

Who's writting the DP book?

No one is. It will just be a storyline in Teen Titans happening at the same time as Titans East and what not.

I'm really looking forward to this though I am really mad it seems like Conner isn't going to be on any of the teams. But, hey we get Ravager and whoever this Kid Devil guy is. Though what ever happened to Vulcan from Son of Vulcan. At the end of his mini it seemed like he was going to join the Teen Titans.

Well the issue is out. Kid devil seems cool though has anyone ever heard of him before. Ravager seemed like a really mean spirited person. Now for what I really want to talk about Robin is cloning Superboy, OMG. I am looking forward to this slightly if they actually give him all of his memories. This could be really cool

Kid Devil was a sidekick to Blue Devil, and he had a cameo appearance a few issues back, sans the demon look.:( Stay tuned to my review for the book - coming soon (shameless blurb I know).

Here's the cover to #34 for those wondering what the fuss is about- don't look if you don't want to be spoiled.

I won't spoil #34, but it was great. Every week a new OYL book comes out and each week I am awe-struck at how awesome DC is. I am reconsidering my decision to not get 52, I could easily cut 4 marvel books right now to make way.Any who, get #34, it is great!

And 52 is only $2.50. :)

Not just $2.50, but the low special introductory rate of $2.50 because after all comics today cost $2.99 or more and there comes a time where we need a comic that costs cheaper than the rest. (Cough RIP OFF DC.)
This series best fetch me a hefty price on eBay in a few years.
I was actually surprised with Teen Titans #34. I bought it and Outsiders #35 over getting OMAC Project Infinite Crisis Special (which is in my file for the time being). Still, the line-up stinks and the conversation between 2 of the females in the first 2 pages of the book perfectly shows my feelings to the New New Teen Titans team itself.

I did not necesarily like the line-up, but I liked Tim's explanation. I loved the book. $2.50 is cheap, except the actual rpice tag is $10 a month, which is hefty. But all I need to do is drop 4 Marvel titles and I am golden, and I dropped X-Men already, so three more...

I didn't see that cover. Dang it I got the team cover. I don't usually opt for buying all the covers but that one rules.

Great stuff, hell ABSOLUTLY FABULOUS STUFF.
I have no problems with the line-up. Teen titans has never really been about getting the a-list cast, just look at the "new teen titans" book where the only known characters were dick, wally and donna. And I think they'll still be some line-up shake ups, johns loves adding or taking away a character about every 10 issues or so.
First off the art was top notch.
Storyline wise:
Man, robin's become a bit more hardcore since we last saw him, and the superboy outift hung like todd's is just ...poetic I guess.
Anybody know anything about marvin and wendy? I recognize the names from somewhere but I'm really drawing a blank.

For me this line-up which was perfectly expressed by Hawk's comment to Aquagirl.
We need people with real powers.
Ravager is on this team why? What powers does she have and how long is it going to take the Titans to realize they got a killer on their team? She uses 2 swords. What is she going to do the villians they face? Cut R's on their shirts like Zorro? Kid Devil. Look at me, I am magically transformed into a devil now. Now I can be an actual super-hero. Yawn. DC, please do me a favor. Kill the Wonder Twins because they suck. "We graduated from M.I.T. at 16, can we be anymore lame?" Throughout the entire DC universe, no one was smart up or capable enough to repair Cyborg except 2 kids? Right......
I got a few theories, but I hope this is how it plays it for the line-up.
I do not see Wonder Girl coming back to the team. I see her joining Titans East more than this Titans just because she is angry at Tim for going on a road trip with the Batman. Raven is probably the former Titan that will refuse to join, but I like to see it be Cyborg. I like to see him finally move on and just be turned off to the idea that this is the New Teen Titans.

To me, line-up means so little.
I knew nobody on JSA when I first started reading it. They seemed like old side-kicks, some guys who should be dead by now, and a couple of kids screweing up the idea of the "old guy" team. And I couldn't have been more wrong, the mix of new and old blood, the comraderie, character development and stories ended up making JSA the best book of the week most of the time.
This line up does seem odd at first. If I were asked by DC to make a new titans line up i'd probably have included steel II, supergirl, and argent to the existing roster of robin, wonder girl, cyborg, beast boy, and raven. But when I think about it that teams just loaded with characters that are pretty much the same. I love diversity on teams, and what could add more diversity than a former psycho and magical demon kid. I do think cassie needs to be joined to the permanent line up though.

The art was unreal, best art out this week IMO (beat Finch in Moonknight even). I am not familiar with the Wendy and Marvin characters, but they did not bother me. I was quite amused with their antics when Cyborg showed off his new gadgets. The banter between Ravager and Kid Devil to begin the issue was fun.
I am very excited with this book. Cannot wait to see where it goes from here.

I complain about books from any company. It just so happens that this time, DC is going to get the brunt of it. Teen Titans line-up stinks and I hope they quickly change it. I mean a killer on the team with swords? There is no way she can fight anyone without going to kill them and you can already tell she does not care when she was taunting Wonder Girl with them in her face.
This issue was better than I thought which was a surprise since this and Outsiders were on the chopping block for me this week if they did not impress me, but a weak line-up is all it is going to take for me to re-evaulate buying the book when I do not even like any of the characters to begin with. I am still hoping against that Titans East team actually makes sense.

If you are going to drop it (and the only reason I even bought this issue was because it was still an interesting read) and you are looking for another Team Book then JSA from DC is all I can think of at the moment. Unless you want another Teen Super-Hero book that is. I will just list some books that I think are cool replacements: Strange Girl, Fell, Fear Agent, Planetary, Captain America, Daredevil, All Star Superman, Ultimate Fantastic Four (until Millar and Land leave), and Ultimates 2 (until #12 since Millar and Hitch are leaving and Loeb and Joe Mad just do not seem like the team to carry on this book).
still haven't got it, who's in?
Well we have Robin, Kid Devil, Ravager.
Cyborg wakes up one year to a team totally different. Wonder Girl is not on the team and I doubt she will be from her attitude about it. Everyone else that was on the team have moved on. Starfire is M.I.A. in action, Kid Flash is "sort of retired", Speedy is with Roy Harper on some island at the moment, and Raven left the team after Gar and she broke up.

Yeah I agree..I mean what team in the world can have a known killer on their team and not get into trouble if that killer loses control and goes into some sort of berzerker rage....;)
Seriously tho, Rose has history with the Titans since she was a Titan in the past before she weirded out and had daddy issues. I for one am glad to see Kid Devil back. I wondered who that was going to be when I saw the cover and it's good to know that Eddie's still around, although I'm hoping the suit is just amped up f/x suit. I thought adding Wendy and Marvin was a little too much inside baseball of a wink, but he didn't play them as idiots so I'll withhold judegement. This is one of those issues where you can really see how much of a difference a year makes. Also, with Vic being out of it for a year, I feel like we're going to be getting more info on what's happened to the DCU in the past year from this series as opposed to the others because Vic will be our eyes and asking questions we would.
I'm keeping this one on my read list...at least till they give a Liefeld Eye for the Hero Guy makeover to 'Mazing Man...

Marvin and Wendy were the names of the kids in the later seasons of Superfriends. They took the place of everyone's favorite lame characters the Wonder Twins. Marvin and Wendy didn't actually have superpowers though. They had a dog too, but I forget its name.

Actually you have it backwards..Wendy and Marvin were first..with Wonder Dog...Wendy was WW's relative and Marvin a relative of Bats I think...

Alright the wendy and marvin thing was really really stupid. Other than that I'm not judging the line up, it could be great or it could suck, and from Johns record on team books I think it will be the first.
However, I just realized there is a serious lack of discussion about the cliffhanger.
Do you guys think robin will be successful in cloning conner? I've read a lot of different rumors on it. Some people think he's working with lex luthor, that it's the only way he could be doing what he's doing without anybody else knowing (thats assuming they don't know). The popular one is that he will be brought back and named supernova because of the superboy verdict.
If superboy is brought back as supernova, I really hope he's almost a completly new character. Superboys death in IC #6 was spectacular and heroic. I'm sick of these great deaths and storylines being wasted by bringing people back. How are we supposed to take the life and death situations of these heroes seriously if we know theres no way they'll stay dead?
I wouldn't mind if robin ends up screwing up and creates an evil superboy to become a good new villain for the titans and superman.

I don't think anybody know. Look at the super secret "Robin Cave" there AT the tower. Tim Drake can be very much like Batman with keeping his agenda to himself. He's a smart cookie, he may be able to do it

Even still, IF this Clone does come into its own it will not be Supernova. He has already been around during the year just like the new Batwoman thanks to the newspapers in Up, Up, and Away storyarc going on in the 2 Superman books. Not to mention, until a verdict on Superboy is settled the conspiracy will live on.
