Ok, I am so amped from OYL it is getting sick, and I see no end in sight. I am dropping other books left and right to make more room for DC, and I am loveing every minute of it (except that first of the month when I have to pay my credit card bill...)! I can't wait to get my weekly fix. Dan Didio is my dealer and I am hooked.
Oh yeah, here is a cool interview with Greg RUcka about Chekmate, spoiler warning, that has me really stoked (like I wasn't before) for this book.

I am spending way too much money on comic books :( its getting to the point where I have to make my own lunch for work! :( But I am sure in about 2 or 3 months all will go back to normal and terrible stories will be revived which means more money in my pocket :p

haha, I make my lunch every day to save an extra $5 or so, which then gets spent usually on Wednesday after work, if not then then Friday night at the bar. Packing a lunch is usually much healthier too, but that is off topic. I am sure we will get bad stoires at some point, and I am not getting every DC title there is, but what I am getting rocks, and has led me to other books that equally rock. The Bat-family is on point, when is the last time all the Bat books have been this good? Superman is arguably the best ongoing book out now. GL hit the ground running real strong, Teen Titans was just great, and Daniels' art was AWESOME! Birds of Prey is consistently fun, and Aquaman is actually an interesting title. And now I am considering grabbing all of 52, I am sold on Checkmate. Ion looks great, Secret Six has me already salivating, and then we get FLash, WW, and JLA this summer. It is unreal how strong the books are, and how much I am looking forward to others. I love this more so because I have never been this much of a comic fan before. This is my single leading hobby now and I could not be happier. Again, thank you DC.

Im the same way. Id be getting 1-2 titles a week if it wasnt for this place. You all have learneded me so much. Thats why I dont read wizard. Its money better spent on comics them selfs, and I always see a preview for something in there that I will end up getting/
