1) Superboy was badly trashed by Superboy Prime, which was shown both in Infinite Crisis and in Teen Titans. He almost died, but was saved by a combination of Tim Drake finding a cure, and Lex Luthor. He was recovering, spent the night with Cassie, then took off with Nightwing to the Tower that Alexander Luthor had constructed. During their attempt to disable the tower, Superboy Prime returned, and trashed a few of the heroes that Nightwing and Superboy were able to free from the Tower. In the end, it came down to Superboy fighting a weakened Superboy Prime and plunging him into the Tower, using his tactile telekinesis to disrupt and destroy the tower. The act seems to have been enough to kill him, although it remains to be seen if it was enough to kill Superboy Prime, although smart money says no and that his fight will take place next issue.

2) As for Starfire, she was on Donna Troy's squad and all we know is what was said in Teen Titans, that she's now missing in action.

3) Power Girl is the version from Earth-2. The Tower failed to recreate the multi-verse, and she's still around, so it's now a new Earth where there exist inconsistencies like that but it's okay, I guess.

4) What happened to Nightwing? Who the hell knows. He, Tim Drake and Batman trained in Budapest for a while, but his appearance in his own book makes it look like, ONCE AGAIN, he is a man totally lost and in the dumps. This is a startling change, because under Devin Grayson he had FINALLY started to rise above his previous failures, and become a true hero again, teaming with Superboy, even getting engaged to Babs. OYL, and he's back to being a male gigolo, so far, and is fighting with Jason Todd who's also now using the costume and name of Nightwing, without Dick's permission. In Outsiders, Dick has it together and has become grimmer and more determined in his mission, no longer sweating the details, and being a bigger picture kinda guy. The two representations clash in the most obscene and massive manner.
