Now I am mad. Now I have to get this series? Thanks a lot DC, thanks a lot. This comes from the fact that information from the last issue in July pretty much explains why.

What did it say again?
Oh, and am I the only one who didn't know Ion was a maxi-series?

They kept flip-flopping on Ion whether it be an ongoing or Maxi. As for Bludhaven, we finally got Dan's comment on how Wildstorm will tie-into Crisis I suppose.

Ohhhhh... now I remember what I read... on the one hand, it's good that this series doesn't exist in a vacuum and that things will have repricussions, because otherwise it wouldn't be a very engaging or necessary mini, but based on the reaction I've read to the first issue, it's not telling a very good story either.

The story is not fantastic and all this does is set up the all new Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters THAT NOBODY is going to read. But no, let DC force me to at least read it just because they decided to tie in where one character eventually ends up. Even more insulting is that I am going to read it now just because Teen Titans appear in it among the character in question that I am mad about being there in the first place.

I think you might be the only one Adam. It's not like it was advertised in every DC book being published you know. :D

Hey, I'm not actually picking up any DC books right now- I read them, but through... other means, and such, like friends, etc, and don't notice these things... :p

I'll be reading it, but I guess I don't count.
Man, gotta hate DC for having its universe overlap...

I enjoyed issue #1 and was going to stick around anyways, because of the solicit spilers (so be warned!) I am more excited, but it is a bit too much to give away in a solicit. Bad form that.

Can't exactly put my finger on why, but issue #2 did not have the impact on me that #1 had and due to some budget adjustments for me I am axing this title.

My friend read it and was severely upset at how BAD the first issue was.
I'm not picking this up...hell or highwater.

I kind of dug the first issue, but #2 was pretty dern bad. And then going back I did not enjoy #1 as much on a re-read. Strange, but hey saves me some dinero.

You don't have to get anything. If you don't want to, don't. It's really simple. Also, watch the language. I'm getting a bit tired of editing your posts for language.
