Here is the blurb for july:
Final issue. Everything comes together in this shocking final issue that paves the way for the next chapter in the adventures of the world's first superteam! JSA is one of my fav books. Why does DC feel the need to relaunch this book?
( if thats what they are going to do). Are they trying to handicap it because they are scared it will outsell JLA? Maybe they would like to give JSA a fresh start so that new readers can start fresh like with the JLA.
I hope DC does not give us younger verisons of the classic characters.
Will they intro some new "kool" characters & headquarter in a satellite with a monkey & dog running around causing havoc.... LMAO

I like routine. I dont like when things get reset or relaunched.

I figure they're just going to bring it in as "Justice Society of America" #1. I'm not wild about new #1 syndrome, but I'm not particularly upset either -- with JLA back to "Justice League of America" I suppose the Era of Initials has come to an end. :D

Every month, my DC monthly reading list gets smaller & smaller. :hrm:
I am curious about the new Justice League of America & Justice Society of America books.
I was really looking forward to the 52 series, but not anymore.

Every month my DC list gets bigger and bigger. I've resigned myself to being a DC disciple, and will be getting Marvel in TPB from now on and devoting my list entirely to DC?Wildstorm (this is fine since Marvel gets those TPB out so promptly!). I am seriously stoked for 52.

This is what I am thinking as well. And I am hoping when they relaunch it, Geoff Johns will be the writer. Levitz is alright but I quit getting JSA an issue ago, it just didn't interest me and wasn't as great as when Johns was writing, but I probably am going to pick it up now just to see how it ends.

Johns will probably be the writer since he said he would be back writing Justice Society of America. As much as it is cool that Justice League of America is coming back, I am not sure if I even care about that team than I do JSA. I am more in tune with the Justice Society of America than I am with JLA. I am upset at the series end, but that preview has me worried. Where is Mid-Night in the picture? I know Alan Scott and Mr. Terrific will be busy in Checkmate.

Ok, I will admit that seeing a title called
The Justice Society of America :flash_ga:
OR
All-Star Comics :hawkgirl:
would be cool.

Well in August, they're putting out a book called Justice Society which is a reprint of All-Star Comics 58-67....so maybe it's a big relaunch?
They better be back...

I don't mind it. I'll still call it JSA though heh. From what I hear through my contacts is that it will be relaunched as Justice Society of America.

They could call it Super Friends for all I care, just so long as it's still out there...

I'm going to stay the course until the final issue. I've been collecting the series since it first debuted. Oh and for the record, it has been revealed that the series was going to end months ago. :p

First I'm hearing of it. In fact, I remember specifically reading an interview with Levitz (or was it Didio?) where they said the book WASN'T going to end and that Johns was coming back after Levitz's run was over.

See, that's what I thought too when I heard the news... although it DOES make sense if it's going the same route as JLA and now going to string out the name... but JLA at least had a reason to do it, as the team was broken down and dismantled... will the same happen to the JSA?

Well, it's pretty much confirmed now -- if you read Dan Didio's column in this week's DCU comics he says, and I quote, "I would have been better off with Geoff Johns if he wasn't chained to his computer preparing TEEN TITANS EAST and a relaunch of JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA." So it looks like the old-timers are still kicking.
