:O Wow...I picked up my copy a couple of hours ago and...wow. That was great. A great ending to a great story. Some questions were answered and there are definitely a lot of new ones. We finally see why Supes lost his powers and why the trinity is taking a year off. We know who the new Flash is (Jay Garrick for now, although if you saw the first 4 pages DC released of Flash 1 you'd know that) And I am soooo looking forward to 52 and what happens to SBP now that he is imprisoned by the GLs I'm kinda disappointed that the fight with Doomsday wasn't bigger, it was like he was one of the regular no-name villains that got killed. But all in all I'm loving it!

This issue was amazing. The story was fantastic. And the artwork was pretty good.

unnghhh.... I'm sorry for disagreeing with the rest but the ending was so unstatisfying, the death of Kal-L didn't seem to impact that much(getting beaten to a bloody pulp) and SBP sucked as the main villain. The death of Alex wasn't well handled either....Joker???....
It started out great and i absolutely liked 1-6, but the ending leaves so much to be desired. The art kinda bugged me at the end as well. What the hell is up with big crossovers nowadays and their conclusion...
On the upside, it finally explained what events happened that lead to OYL status of the trinity.

I loved every single page of this issue. Hell, I loved every page of the entire story arc. This has been one great series! I can't wait to see what happens during 52!

I think it was in the Villains United series that theJoker showed up and wiped out a good portion of the Card Gang (can't remember their title). Joker asked why he wasn't recruited to the society, and it was revealed that "The Joker's too wild." Or something to that effect. So here, our Lex Luthor found the imposter and set the Joker loose on him. I thought it was poetic justice at its finest, especially since I was concerned they were going to let him get away and show up in another year.
I enjoyed issues 6 and 7 of this series more than the first five, they finally worked for me. I'd also recommend picking up the Teen Titan's annual, if anyone hasn't, to help bolster the emotional impact of Cassie and Conner's relationship and the loss that spurs everyone to action.

Did Alex Luthors anti-matter powers just stop working or was that explained somewhere?

SO I got to get it finally last night and this kicked so much *** it is ridonculous. This has supplanted Onslaught: Marvel Universe as my favorite single issue ever, and along with the O:MU it is one of only two comics that just sent shivers down me it was so awe inspiring. First off the end was sweet Joker is AWESOME! You have to let Joker play or he is gonna get you My theory on Black Adam taking out Doomsday was wrong, but he proved even more how cool he is. When the guys are asking, is Black Adam on our side? I think he is on his own side....that was wickedThen the Thin Green Line just made me grin and got me all fuzzy. So awesome I liked everything about this and I cannot wait to see what happens next. Like Dan says in his dc nation blog for this week, DC is just getting started...

It was. Jonsnow said he thought Adam would have been the one to take out Doomsday.

Oh i see. I thought i needed to re-read it again.
Man, although i didn't prefer this particular issue personally(specially for the art in the fight scenes), i have to admit it made me look forward to OYL titles now that the dust has settled.

I liked the
Super tag team double action on Doomsday.
Also, I think that finally, finally, thank god almighty, we are free from the Speedforce.... YAY!!!!!

BOO! I want it back and I want a Flash other than Jay (which I know will be delivered). I love having someone tied to the sppedforce and the concpet of the speedforce.

My bet is on Bart becoming the new flash because of what his mom said in the Teen Titans/ Legion Crossover that he is the flash and that Wally's children will be his kid flashes

I was actually satisfied with the Joker. I mean... come on, he is a feared villain for a reason, especially for someone with no powers? I was very VERY happy with those few pages.

Co-signed...one of the best moments for the character, IMO.

That is a decent point, however with the recent events taken place and the fact that time is not linear and that is one of many possible futures it may not be right. However, I am in agreement in thinking Bart will be fFlash. I just hope they bring the Speed Force back into play.

Are all the Superguys the same speed/strength etc..? I always thought the newer Superman was less powerful or was he just holding back?

Our Superman is not as powerful as he was in his pre-crisis Earth-1 days
E2 Superman was powered down, probably due to Alexander's machinations
Superboy-Prime was in full Pre-Crisis Kryptonian mode pretty much

Even pre Crisis, E2 Superman was shown as less powerful than his E1 counterpart due to his age.

No, E2 Superman wasn't as powerful as E1 Superman.
But he was only slightly below him, and that is still leagues above current powered Superman.

true, but I was commenting on the fact the previous poster thought that E2 Supes was powered down due to Alexander. In his prime, E2 could've fought SBP to a standstill all on his own.

I agree with you Jim but SupesAF has a point.
Didio stated that E2 Superman was not as powerful as he was pre CoIE but that SBP was. I originally attributed that to age but then SupesAF made a few good points about that, and now I agree Alex must have done something to him.
