Anyone have any speculation or theories on who is going to be on the Titans East team?

I have no guess as to who the team will be, but I am certainly excited for this mini-series.

Oh it is a mini? Didn't hear that. I am unsure on Raven, because of her own mini-series. I know in the solicits of TT #34, they refer to the "secretive" Titans East. I am trying to think of more covert oriented characters, but I could be way off.

- The long-rumored Teen Titans East being “prepared” by Geoff Johns. An East Coast version of the team has been teased and hinted at by Johns over the last couple of years, since a group of heroes calling themselves Titans East showed up in the “Titans Tomorrow” arc in Teen Titans #17-#19 The team shown in the arc was one that existed ten years into the future of an alternate timeline, and was composed of Cyborg, Bumblebee, Terra, Ravager, Captain Marvel (Jr), and Batwoman.

I just assumed mini, but prehapps it is an ongoing.

Well Cyborg, Bumblebee, and Ravager can be ruled out pretty dern quick.

Not unless they get moved to Titans East. I mean, I think that Bart will be back at some point to rejoin the team, but its hard to say who will be put where. :kidflash:

A sister of Kori?

They should make Raven leader of Titans East.

Its time for her to step up as a major character in the DCU...just like Hawkeye did in WCA and Kurt in Excalibur.

The potential is there, we just need a writer with some talent to bring it out.

I just don't see Raven as a leader. As for Kori I have my own theory there I think that is her on the cover to July's issue of nightwing. Just look close, it is obviosuly a female, and those look like the "flames" that Kori can generate. As for Cyborg, Bumblebee, and Ravager, maybe Bumble bee, but I think Ravager and cy will stick with the original for a while.

I didn't see Kurt as one, but in Excalibur he was written so well and his leadership was almost comparable to Scott or Ororo.

Remember, Raven was teamed up with one of the best leaders in the DCU, Dick Grayson. I'd say he's second only to Superman in the ability to lead heroes. She'd have to have picked up something. Of course I'm thinking of the old-school Raven, written when she was older. Not the teeny-bopper Johns introduced.

I thought differently...

I think that woman is the fashion designer in the book. Cheyenne something or other. She exhibits a little power in the first OYL issue when she's introduced.

As far as Titans East goes, I think a depowered Bart might be a good leader. Not expected, but he's intelligent and has a photographic memory. Plus, what else can he do nowadays without the Speed Force?
