Green Lantern is one of the most perpetually late books out there. In fact, the only title with a worse shipping schedule I can think of is Superman/Batman.

But Superman/Batman has a good reason for being late, Green Lantern does not.

I could amost understand when it was Scriver and Pacheco on art, they tend to be slow, and with Johns running IC at the time, it made sense, but OYl Johns has TT out, but not this book, even with Ivan Reis, who has in the past done a good job being on time. I don't get it, especially since I like GL so much.

What's the good reason?

Jeph Loeb's son died, which counts as a good reason for me.

Marvel and DC should have a contact, either a phone number or an email where you can go and ask these things and they inform you. Sheesh, GL is one of my favroite mythos in comics and he is one of DC's biggest heroes and they cannot even get it out or give an explanation of why it is not out on time?

Well when Action Comics #838 was late and shipped on 5/3 instead of 4/26 they didn't offer any explanations...and that's a Superman title. It just happens I guess.

Yeah, but it sure does **** me off when it happens month in and month out with a title.

Ok, I have a general GL question....
Alan Scott's weakness is wood right? So does that mean someone can beat him with a stick and he can't do anything about it? I know that's crazy but what are the limitations of that weakness exactly?

Just take him behind the wood-shed...

I think without a doubt the coolest moment in this book was the Sinestro ring going to Batman. Geoff Johns said it would be seeking out people who could create great fear, I just never put one and one together. Great Issue!

Yeah, totally. I didn't see that coming either. I think it makes a lot of sense that that happened. After I saw that Batman was offered the ring, I was actually wondering if Amon Sur would be offered it too. It fits. His dad 'chose' the GL Corps over his family and Amon's looking for payback on the Corps. Best way to do that is to join Sinestro!!!

Well, I'm pretty sure if someone weilding a stick was threatening to assault him he would be prepared for that kind of situation. He would probably just punch them in the face or put them in a submission hold or something. He has hung out with hand to hand combatants for umteen years and I'm guessing that scenario played in his head before...
