Green Arrow #62, did anybody else have a printing error in their copy? My page 6 is actually page 18. IT really threw me and ruins the issue. Did I get a random mistake, or did DC screw up big here?

I haven't picked up the issue BUT if it's an error it's a printing error for sure and not from DC directly.

So chances being I could find a non-screwed up copy somewhere?

Yes there is a high chance that you should get a normal copy.
If you got your copy from a comic store, take it back, they can get you a clean one for free.

However this issue kicks *** nd Green Arrow is something to behold. This issue summarizes everything I like in comics. Hero fights villain and it is just AWESOME! I like superhero fights in comics and I like Deathstroke all the time. Seeing GA kick butt with a sword and scaring Deathstroke? Now that is just wicked cool. Best single monthly issue of OYL so far.Now just need to get an un-mucked up copy...

That's odd, I didn't see that... I think you got a random error.
This issue was awesome, though. It's good to see Ollie step his game up, he's been an underrated fighter for too long now. Plus he's got a sword!
I do, however, think that when the explosion happened, Ollie may have switched with Connor. The sword (Connor has been shown to wield a sword a time or two) and Deathstroke noticed that he was incorporating more martial arts in his fighting, would lead you to believe either A) Ollie has been under some heavy duty training, or B) during the explosion in his office, he switched with Connor.
Either way works for me.

Now that theory is muy interesante I don't have myissue in front of me so I would have to check later. However, I seem to remeber one panel it appeared Ollie or whoever had a scar over his left eye that was not the previously. I could be WAy off though. but it may lend to your theory possibly. I think it was Ollie though. I think Slade would catch if it was an entirely different person

Between this and Outsiders, I am sreally wondering where Arsenal is. Roy is one of my favorite characters and I'd hate to not see him in a role.
Maybe they could bring back his original kick-*** Arsenal costume....

I gotta say, the first two OYL issues of Green Arrow really didn't impress me too much, but I decided to give it until this issue to decide if I was going to stay with it. I'm REALLY glad I did -- FANTASTIC issue. Especially the last page.

Ok I reread my messed up issue (grumble :( ) and it is a FANTASTIC issue. I am intrigued byt hsi though Watch GA when he enters the pit with Deathstroke, dude has a very definite scar on the left side of his face going over the left eye. Where did he get this? When? Ollie does not have one....are there two GAs?

I'm pretty sure he got the scar during the fight. On that page after Ollie jumps in, while he's bouncing off the walls, look at the third panel. I think that's where Slade manages to cut him.

I agree with this theory
Except I don't think its the scar that gives it away. If you look at the beginning of the fight, one panel ollies just wearing green underarmor, then he gets kicked out the room by deathstroke and suddenly he's wearing his full fighting gear. If there was a switch, I hope it was there because its a pretty big leap to believe he hid the costume somewhere in his office and had time to throw it on by the time deathstroke got into the room.
Oh yeah, there was one other thing
Deathstroke and the society had nothing to do with ted kords murder. A pity because it would have been a great shot out, but it was a huge continuity error for me.

I don't think it was a continuity error. While Max pulled thr etrigger it was Alex's actions that led to Brother Eye gaining sentience and organizing the Society. So in a round about way, there is responsibility. Plus, I think Ollie is juts lumping all villains together in the blame.

He is wearing green colored body armour under is civillain cloths. He jsut takes his suit off and he has a partial costume. He hid the rest of the costume, and the bow and arrow, in the floor. If you look to his right here is a quiver ans some green stuff sticking out of the star in the center of the star city logo on the floor.
Edit: My review of this title will be up later today!

That didn't really have anything to do with max though. Alex organized the society, started an intergalactic war, and gave omac sentience. But batman made the omac, and max stole it. At no point did the society ever really use omac or checkmate.
I dunno, I still think it was a pretty HUGE continuity error considering it only happaned a year ago.

Well, then again, Ollie may not know all that.
Besides, it's just one line, not a big deal.

Normally yeah, but I read that one line and literally had to stop for a minute to figure out if deathstroke or even the society had anything to do with checkmate and max. It really took me out of the fight.

I didn't feel bad for him, but Deathstroke is one of the best characters there is. Just look at the amount of knock off characters derived from him there are.
