Darkseid/Mr Miracle question

I have goggled a bit for this, or rather I should say, I came across this idea mentioned a few times in relation to Darkseid and Mr Miracle searches..

There seems to be a rumor floating out there that in some recent Mr Miracle miniseries, Darkseid got the ALE. Is this true? If so, what mini, when did it occur and is it available in tpb?

I'm 99.99999999% sure that the story of how darkside found/developed the anti-life equation has not yet be told.

And honestly, mister miracle was such a mess its hard to tell if it was all in his head or in continuity at all.

I didn't think it was as bad as a lot of people though, I liked the idea of darkside using more subtle methods of spreading corruption and dispair across the earth.

DC confirmed that the seven soldiers series is in continuity. There was a bit of disagreement about whether it happaned before or after infinite crisis, but I think it ended up being decided that the series took place right before IC. Which is why his new klarion was seen in IC.

I thought the Seven Soldiers as a whole happened, but the New Gods aspect was all negated somehow...

The only reason it would be negated was if the whole story was just shilo's delusions, which is entirely possible. Like I said, issue 4 was incredibly confusing.
But up until that issue, it seemed like darkside and some of the other new gods had new incarnations/avatars operating on earth.

darkseid did find the anti life there. period
go buy it, you'd have a really nice mike mignola piece of art and see what orion means with "i'll take care of them":LOL:

2nd: mr miracle 7 soldiers ls
apokolips did win the war (watch out, dc is going to ret con it any second now... ops, grant already did it himself, the fall of the new gods was in a lifetrap for mr norman:LOL: ) and darkseid did create the perfect trap for shilo.
what's the only think nobody ever can get out of without dying? life, obviously. so the omega, is life itself. the futility of it.

i think grant has a 5 lobed brain:)

Is this the same Cosmic Odyssey that came out in the 1980s? I think that I read that back in the day and I don't recall anything about the ALE (which is not to say that you are incorrect simply to say that I don't remember it).

The few references to what I am asking about seems to refer to a Mr Miracle miniseries that came out sometime in the last 5 years or so.

I have Seven Soldiers, at least part of it at home, but I have yet to read it. i want to do that all at once....

It doesn't seem like there's been a story where he actually finds the equation. Just quite a few about him trying to find the equation until he apparently uses it in ss: mr. miracle.
