If you have a few extra bucks when you go to the comic book store, try to pick up a copy of Superman/Batman #26. It is the last story written by Sam Loeb and it will have artwork and dialogue by a whole bunch of people. And all the money the artists and writers would have usually have gotten will go to charity.

I liked the scene with Superboy in the tub with the robot versions of Raven, Kory and Cass.

Priceless.

WHy do I think that piece of dialogue was written by Whedon?

I really liked this issue. The comedic dialogue was great of Connor and Tim going back and forth and kinda reminded of reading a Spider-Man or Deadpool comic

thing is, if i do that, i'll just make that bandit of a comic shop owner here (italy) richer, i don't think any of the money will get through

Having just read "Superman for All Seasons," the "Sam's Story" at the end was all the more resonant.

The story itself seemed a little convoluted and forced, and read like a teenager's dream-matchup, but it wasn't a bad little effort. Had this been an ordinary issue, we all would have just said, "ok, kind of neat." and moved on.

As it is, it's a slightly-sad look at what could have been, a light snuffed out before he could shine upon the world.

Wow, this was heartbreaking. I mean...oh god it actually became difficult to read through those last couple of pages of sams story.

And the story was a lot of fun and hilarious, I felt like I was reading a classic issue of young justice. The whole thing just made me miss superboy even more. The only thing I would have added was for bart to show up at some point.
