I really like the series so far. The art in issue 2 is excellent. Dane has never looked better and he's showing alot more power stunts already in this series.

That's fair....everybody is entitled to their opinion. I for one really like writers and artists who do new things....I feel like most of these other comics are nothing but the same thing over and over again. Thats why Im stickin with Wetworks....it's different...and I think the art is excellent.

I disagree quite a bit, comics as a whole have really been on an upswing, theres a lot of fresh and new things going on with titles that have been around a while and a lot of surprisingly good new things on the market...

And for the most part, this Wildstorm relaunch isnt it...Gen13 has been the best of the bunch and its promising not great yet, Wildcats was just average(and may be dead in the water with the delay now), the Authority was disappointing, and Wetworks has been the lame duck of the group...

both customer and critical reaction to this series have not been kind despite the art...i guess its good to see loyal fan support for the series by ya though...

Well.....Im not exactly sure what the consensus is as far as Wetworks goes....but it topped the list as far Wildtorm titles go in terms of sales in its debut month of September.....probabaly October too but im not sure about October.

fair enough, but sales dont equal quality(just look at Wolverine Origins for that)...esp with a #1 in series...

This is one of the best WS relaunches so far. I've been waiting for us to see Dane back in action! I'm glad we are going to see Portacio hit the "every month" thing this time around as well. I've been pleased with what I've read so far!

I really enjoyed Wetworks the first go round. I really do not like this new go round. Great that some dig it, but it is just awful for me.

So what Jonsnow is saying is...if you see it in front of you, "go (a)round" it

and i agree.

Whilce is planning on bringing just about all the members of the original team back during this run.....Grail ....Pilgrim.....Jester....etc......they're pretty much "waiting on Dane's call" in Whilce's words. I dig the relaunch as well....but from what he's said above he'll be incorporating some of the old with the new.......

Just a quick question to the true Wetworks fans......Any idea how strong physically Dane is with just his symbiote....not psi amping or anything......how much can he lift with his bare hands. I've heard it increases his natural strength 20 times over but thats unofficial......ive always been curious about that....??????

Good question. I am not sure, but I know it makes him much stronger. I think it depends also on whose symbiote it, meaning Dozer got stronger than the others, but Claymore and Dane would also be much stronger. Cannot give you exact numbers.

I just wanted to drop in and say that I have been enjoying the last two issues quite a bit. The second issue IMO was better then the first.

That's good that we are supposed to be seeing most of the original team. I've only recently started hunting down bakc issues from the original series, but what I've read is great! I'm glad we'll be seeing those guys return!
