New Jericho comic site

Just a heads up DDP has created a new Jericho comic site complete with forum. Very exciting stuff for us Jericho fans.

Also has previews of the next 5 Jericho covers and from the looks of it they are going to hold the quality of the TV show.

A lot of the Jericho Rangers are checking in at the forum and counting down to October when the story continues.

Let's hope DDP and the Jericho writers can make this translate into a comic form.

There is a new release date for the comic... 11/27/09. Looks like it's been pushed back a few weeks.

Also Dan Shotz writer and co producer posted at the Jericho comic forum and gives a few details about continuing to write the Jericho story.

Spoiler alert....

Having not read a comic in a few years here is my impression of issue #1

I got the comics today from my local comic store and found a nice quiet spot to read it.

First impression was how nice the artwork was.

Opened the comic to find the words JERICHO with Morse code under it... Code reads "YOU CANT SHUT THIS DOWN"

I was grinning ear to ear!

Next page was ASA Jets heading to a unspecified target... Very cool.

On to the recap which was nicely done.

The story was awesome and I actually found myself immersed in JERICHO again.

I thought the continuing countdown as the ASA Jets continued to the target very well done.

I was surprised to see Beck wearing the ASA flag and looks like Beck and his unit are pretending to still be loyal to the ASA.

And Heather.... SIGH
Two pages with our Heather delivering a note to the Jericho underground.

The cliffhanger was perfect with our heroes planning to free Mr Smith from Loomer Ridge.

And finally the thank you page.... WOW ( Nice work RP )

I have to say I really enjoyed the first edition and it was everything I expected and more.

I know it's just a comic however I still cant get the grin off my face.

For a short time I was back in JERICHO.

I'm eagerly awaiting the second issue.
