Guldo vs.

The fat time-stopping, paralysis-inducing member of the Ginyu Force. I was thinking about this and would wonder how some people would do against him...in these scenarios:

1) No prep or any gear for opponent.
2) No prep for opponent but they get gear.
3) No prep and Guldo is bloodlusted.

Opponents (individually, not a tower/gauntlet).
1) GL Kyle Rayner
2) Captain America
3) Wolverine
4) The Thing
5) Wonder Woman
6) Pikkon (DBZ)
7) Maul

I'm confused. How would he lose to Cap, Thing, or Wonder Woman, but then beat Maul? Are you thinking of Maul from the Order?

I'm not very knowlegeable about DBZ, but enough to know abilities and stuff. It's hard for me to translate their universe to regular comic universes.

1. He's not beating a named GL for sure, due to auto-shielding. Guldo can stop him with time freeze, but not much else.

2. He should be able to hit Cap enough between time freeze and bodily paralysis to score at least a TKO, assuming he's fast enough to dodge an initial shield toss, which is actually a fairly quick attack. If he gets tagged, Cap should have the advantage.

3. He can stop Wolverine, but I doubt he could land the quality hits needed to knock him out. He heals too fast.

4. Same as Wolverine, but replace "too healing" with "too durable".

5. Wonder Woman would likely knock him out before he really did much of anything, since she's a blitzing super-brick with godly ranged abilities now.

6. No clue, but Pikkon seems pretty capable. I get the feeling that just about anyone from that universe could do well against or outright beat Guldo.

7. Unless it's Maul in pure human form, Guldo can't really do anything to hurt him, and would likely pass out trying to keep him frozen. All Maul needs is a finger flick to knock him out, which I think he would get eventually.

I can dig most of that...is WW going to speedblitz off the bat with no prep?

Guldo can trigger timefreeze in a ranged area as long as he can hold his breath. However he did struggle with it in DBZ and he would probably only get one chance to use it on WW.

2) Captain America - Guldo outclasses Cap physically, and can do tons of things to cap easily.

3) Wolverine - he can't kill him, but can knock him out, Logan can only tag him if he lets him.

4) The Thing - Guldo can paralise him, or stop time and blast him, Thing can only brick it out and can't even catch him if he flies.

5) Wonder Woman - Guldo can time-stop or paralise her, get some sharp trees (she sucks on piercing attacks, and while Guldo don't knows that, he pulled that on the show) and kill her while she's defenseless.

6) Pikkon (DBZ) - Guldo can't pull much that will hurt him, and he has taken care of Frieza that is>>>>>>>>>>>>to Guldo.

7) Maul - Depends on how big Maul is, if he's "small" when Guldo lands a hevy blow Guldo wins, if he's big, Guldo will probably be hard-pressed to hurt him.

You know, Pikkon, although resembling Piccolo, hasn't played many fights that well...but Pikkon is way too fast for Guldo. WW can win with a speedblitz but otherwise loses. The rest I agree with.

Guldo being easily the weakest of the Ginyu Force I don't really know who he could beat because he was having a hard enough time with Gohan and Krillin. However Pikkon is easily the strongest on this list as he was more powerful then Super Perfect Cell and Cell is atleast 100 times more powerful then Guldo who was around 25,000 if even that while Cell was in the hundred millions. So Pikkon easily dispatches of Guldo before he can do anything. I say Captain America goes down mainly because there is no way possible he is even anywhere close to the powers of the weakest in DBZ by the Namek Saga. Wonder Woman could possibly take him but I personally don't see it. Don't know who Maul is. I don't see The Thing being able to beat Recome in a fight but h may be more powerful then Guldo but idk. Wolverine has nothing except his healing factor in a standard fight against Guldo but he may be able to take it. GL beats Guldo though.
