Someone is standing behind Animal Man. Any ideas?

Anyway, could it be Wildcat?

Hate to break it to you, but that's not the cover. That's a promo image that's been circulating for months -- Meltzer said that the team is going to consist of nine people in that image and one that isn't.

Actually that is the two covers to JLA #1. As I understand it you divide it down the center and you have the two covers. The second issue has the 9 members of the team on the cover.

Where'd you hear that? I remember Meltzer saying when this image came out it wasn't actually a cover... and if you divide it, you've got a lot more than nine characters on either side.

Okay, to clear up the confusion, I went straight to the source...

Looks like they DID decide to go ahead and make that the cover art, although there will be a third cover by Michael Turner. Sorry for the confusion, mwynn, my fault.

It's possible that those are the final characters (in which case it seems
are a lock), but I wouldn't lay odds based on that cover.

No problem. So has anyone seen the 3rd cover yet?

I don't think it's been released -- they'll hold the variant in reserve for a bit.

Anyone else think that the GA outline looks a little too "curvey" to be Ollie?

Not with Turner drawing it, his GA is a lean guy. But you may be right.

Nope, not with how Turner draws. It's probably Connor. Thing is, look at the waist. The GA outline doesn't look like it's in a bodice that's way too tight. If you look at the outline just below, with the long hair, you can tell that's a Turner female because of her waist. Also, the one just above the GA one's head is also a female again because of the waist. You can't really tell definitely that that's Kendra because you can't see the waist.
