Still listening, but had to post early.
..."supersperm"...."one shot wonder".... That's one way of putting it. Also: During DeFalco's run, wasn't Reed Richards presumed dead? He was off the book for two years. Don't know if that counts as seperated? Anyways, favourite wedding: Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson. It was a horrible story, both story (with Puma interupting their honeymoon)and art,, but it made sense and it worked for both characters. And you forgot one wedding: Hellcat and Damien Hellstorm, in Defenders. I had forgotten about it, since it was so long ago and both characters aren't so mainstream anymore. This post does not really apply to the current podcast, but it does indeed connect to one that is coming up.
Maybe you guys can do a piece on Hawkman sometime after the Crisis segment and show how it has impacted that character negatively; I figure it is a topic to play with to show how a character reboot did not work well for all characters. |

The whole FF was being written pretty poorly at that point... kinda hard to count it as far as proving characterization, in my opinion.

Could have missed it, but did you guys mention Captain Britain and Meggan's wedding from the last Excalibur issue from Volume 1?

Now that I think about it- if you guys were to do a Crisis 1.5 event like Zero Hour, Hawkman's character was pretty messed up there as well. ![]() |

I don't think we did mention Captain Britain and Meggan's wedding -- I guess we can't catch 'em all.

I don't know if this post matters, but I've found some other weddings:
- Vision & Scarlet Witch - Hawkeye & Mockingbird - Viper & Logan (if that counts at all) - Scott Summers & Madelyne Prior - Storm & Black Panter |

Picked up that issue this afternoon -- I've gotta say, I loved it. I hope the Dibneys stick around.

I definitely agree with Chase about the Clark/Superman thing.....Clark is the disguise....It is....I mean he wears glasses to hide his face....we hide behind mask....
I agree with both of yall about spider-man even though the art by bachalo looks incredible I can't bring myself to buy it because OMD is still such a sore spot... How can yall not talk about the only gay marriage that I know of in comics, Midnighter and Apollo.....It is a pretty big deal I thought....and if anyone saw the issue it was pretty gay.....I mean seriously (not in a negative way) it was gay. Midnighter wore a white costume

Tis nice to have someone else voice their opinions on Exiles besides me... I really wish Claremont should be off the book.
About weddings, there are certain couples who work better married. Im not saying Spider-Man was ABSOLUTELY one of them, because he worked pretty "spectacularly" for more than 20 years before getting married... BUT i loved him more as a married man. I grew up with him married to MJ, and this seems like such an insult to an entire generation of readers by saying "The 60's and 70's were so much better than anything YOU enjoy..." I personally plan on going to the Cup o' Joe Panel at NYCC and throwing hot coffee at him. -=kidding=- -=not really gonna throw coffee at him=- -=not a threat=-
