The first day was surprisingly light on banter and votes though, which is strange. We'll see what the dawn brings... I just hope I survive the first day this time. The last time I was in a Mafia from the beginning, I died the first night, and that was when it was starting with the night phase.

NIGHT ONE: CARNAGE

Mark Blicharz followed his quarry slowly and targeted him with his device. The results were disappointing…”NOT AN AUTOBOT” came up on the screen. He turned to leave.

“Problem?” a voice said. He turned to see a monstrous robotic triceratops. “Me think you need brains bashed!”

The monster charged him and gored Mark’s circuits with his horns. In a manner of moments his spark was extinguished. The assassin transformed, smiled at his work, and left. Shortly afterward a fellow Decepticon came up to the grisly scene.

“Oh, that’s a shame,” he said, smiling to himself. “At least I can’t be blamed for this one.”

It was a slow night, and gambit0001 was ordered to stay in to avoid any kind of situation, given the importance of his role in the war. He looked down, and suddenly sensed a malevolent presence. He turned and fired…only for the blast to bounce off his attacker…who was sheathed in flame. gambit turned to run, and hid behind a small area. He knew this was going to be bad, and he hid his prized treasure in a small crack in a wall.

He turned to see his attacker again…who lashed out and crushed him without so much as a thought.

The Autobots found gambit0001’s body…blast. If only he had remained alive…but they found what he had hid. Thank Primus….

Mark Blicharze is dead. He was Bonecrusher, Decepticon-aligned Constructicon (cop, limited bulletproof).

Due to Mark’s status as a Constructicon, Devastator can no longer be formed.

gambit0001 is dead. He was Elita-One, Autobot-aligned strike team leader (reviver).

Well, that's an interesting night phase. On the one hand, we lost a cop, and the ability to create Devastator. But on the other hand, we got rid of an Autobot Strike Team Leader...

No idea who to vote for here, but we do need to get mobilized to ferret out those Autobots...

Bulletproof, but apparently not Dinobot proof. That sucks that Devastator can't be formed. That would've been super awesome.

Devastator could have been formed via their leader saying so, however it would cost any of the Constructicons with other night abilities the use of them if they had/have one. At that point, anyone attacking a Constructicon would be attacking Devastator, who is bulletproof.

The ability to form Devastator is now moot.

Justin, I'm gald you include pics of the characters, I was a huge fan in the 80s when I was a kid, but now I can't really match a face with the names. I forgot about the dinobots until you said the assailant was a triceratops. DINOBOTS FTW!

Whoever thought of giant transforming robot/humanoid/dinosaurs gets an instant win.

Yeah, I know this medium isn't well known by everyone, so the pics are useful to at least get a visual, especially with the obscure characters. I like it.

Maybe the AllSpark or whatever that thing is called? She was a reviver, and I'm sure that device can restore life. Since the Autobots found where she hid it, does that mean there's a new reviver in their gang?

Well, Constructicons are just Decepticons aren't they? And dinobots are just autobots from what I gather.

Last time the third faction were those allied with Unicron... but we'll see I guess... If Justin's last game is any indication, there will be a third faction but we may not know it to start.

no poetry here, i suspect the dinos are a faction as well aws the autobots or perhaps they are one big faction (they got two kills so i suspect the former)
